8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and deliver targeted advertising. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use the following types:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function (e.g., shopping cart, session management). Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our site (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your preferences such as language and currency settings.
  • Marketing & Advertising Cookies: Used to deliver targeted advertisements on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and other networks based on your browsing behavior. This includes the Meta Pixel cookie.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner. Disabling marketing cookies will stop Meta Pixel tracking. For more details, visit www.allaboutcookies.org or www.youronlinechoices.eu.

9. Meta Pixel & Facebook/Instagram Advertising

This section is required by Meta's Business Tools Terms and applies to all visitors of our website whose data is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc.

9.1 What Is the Meta Pixel?

The Meta Pixel (also known as the Facebook Pixel) is a piece of JavaScript code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. that we have installed on our website. It allows us to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns by tracking the actions visitors take on our site after seeing or clicking our ads.

9.2 What Data the Meta Pixel Collects

The Meta Pixel automatically collects and sends the following data to Meta Platforms, Inc.:

  • HTTP headers, including IP address, browser information, page location, document, and referrer.
  • Pixel-specific data, including the Pixel ID and cookie.
  • Button click data — which buttons are clicked, labels, and any linked pages.
  • Optional values such as purchase amounts and currency when a transaction is completed.
  • Standard Events we have configured, which may include: PageView, ViewContent (product viewed), AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, and Purchase.

This data may be linked to your Facebook profile if you are logged into Facebook and may be used by Meta for ad targeting, measurement, analytics, and to improve Meta's products and services.

9.3 Custom Audiences & Retargeting

We use data collected through the Meta Pixel to create Custom Audiences — lists of website visitors who can be shown relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. We may also create Lookalike Audiences based on the characteristics of our existing customers. All custom audience data we upload to Meta is sourced from data for which we have obtained the necessary user consent, and is limited to data collected within the past 180 days in accordance with Meta's Business Tools Terms.

9.4 Cross-Platform Tracking

The Meta Pixel enables cross-platform tracking, meaning Meta may track your activity across different websites and apps that also use Meta's tracking tools. This allows Meta to build a profile of your interests across the web and deliver more relevant ads across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and third-party sites in the Meta Audience Network. We disclose this practice in compliance with Meta's April 2026 data source declaration requirements.

9.5 Data Source Declaration

In compliance with Meta's Business Tools Terms, we declare the following:

  • Data Collection Method: Website pixel (Meta Pixel / JavaScript tag installed on our website pages).
  • Consent Basis: Consent — we obtain user consent via our cookie consent banner before activating the Meta Pixel for ad tracking purposes.
  • Data Freshness: Custom audiences are built from data no older than 180 days.
  • Cross-Platform Use: Data may be matched and used by Meta across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Meta Audience Network.

9.6 How to Opt Out of Meta Ad Tracking

You have several options to control or opt out of Meta's use of your data for advertising purposes:

  • Cookie Consent Banner: Use our cookie consent banner to decline marketing/advertising cookies. This will disable the Meta Pixel on your browser.
  • Facebook Ad Preferences: Visit your Facebook Ad Preferences at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences to manage how Meta uses your data for advertising.
  • Industry Opt-Out Tools: Visit https://www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU) or https://optout.aboutads.info (US) to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating networks.
  • Browser-Level Opt-Out: Install a browser extension such as the Facebook Pixel Helper or an ad blocker to prevent Meta Pixel from loading.

If you opt out of Meta ad tracking on our site, we will ensure you are excluded from all custom audiences and that the Meta Pixel will not fire for your session, in accordance with Meta's Business Tools Terms and applicable privacy laws.

9.7 Meta's Own Privacy Policy

Data received by Meta Platforms, Inc. through the Meta Pixel is governed by Meta's own Data Policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/policy. Easylink is not responsible for Meta's data practices. For questions about how Meta uses your data, please contact Meta directly.

10. Your Privacy Rights

  • Right to Object: Object to processing based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process data (e.g., Meta Pixel tracking, marketing emails), you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to Opt Out of Marketing: Opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at easy.linkk.solution@gmail.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, secure payment processing through PCI-DSS compliant providers, restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis, and regular security assessments of our systems.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
